Experiment 6/26!

It’s officially one of the best days of the year!!! It’s National Stitch Day (6/26). If you’ve read anything on my blog you know Stitch is my absolute favorite Disney character so I will admit, I will take any excuse to celebrate this crazy, adorable “puppy”.

If you don’t know the story (GASP! Go watch Lilo and Stitch right now!) I will gladly explain the highlights! Ok, maybe not my highlights (because lets be real, I would type up the whole movie line for line).

Jumba Jookiba is an idiot scientist evil genius who has created an alien he calls experiment 626.

Monstrosity? What you see before you is the first of a new species. I call it Experiment 626. He is fireproof, bulletproof, and can think faster than a supercomputer. He can see in the dark, and lift objects three thousand times his size. His only instinct… to destroy everything he touches! Ha ha ha ha!”―Jumba

Experiment 626 is taken into custody to be destroyed excepts he escapes and crash lands on Earth. Hawaii to be exact.

Here he meets a little girl named Lilo and she adopts him because he is the coolest puppy she’s ever seen.

Due to Stitch’s instincts he has a hard time fitting in with Lilo and her sister Nani. However, Lilo insists he stays because he has become part of their Ohana.

Now Stitch needs Lilo’s help getting away from the people who are trying to capture him and take him back to his planet to be destroyed.

It’s a story of finding yourself, family Ohana and friendship. If you haven’t seen the movie yet I highly recommend watching it because not only does it have a great story line and fantastic characters, it has one of the best Disney soundtracks.

  1. I love Stitch! I haven’t seen the movies in a while, tho. He’s such a cute little alien puppy. I love how he turned out well, as opposed to other genetic experiments like Rocket or Koba. Rocket seems like the most realistic genetic experiment, but he isn’t soft like Stitch.

  2. I love Lilo and Stitch! I used to watch it everyday after school lol. I haven’t seen it in so long! Thank you for bringing me back to a part in my childhood ❤️❤️

    1. You’re so welcome! I could watch this movie on repeat and never get sick of it. It’s so different than other Disney movies and I love all the characters.
