Who I’d Envy on Halloween

Well it’s that week of the year, Halloween is coming and I’m still wondering what would make the perfect costume. I can’t be the only one who leaves this till the last minute right? (Hello…? Anyone?)

Some people have that creativity down and locked ready to go. I’ve even heard of some people who have the next 5 years planned! Don’t even get me started on those couples that can have coordinating costumes.

There are so many different options out there! How in the world can you pick just one?! Plus I am way past the age of being able to throw on a long shirt calling it a dress and putting on glasses to say I’m a slutty, sexy, scandalous, sultry whatever teacher. So here I am instead planning my night in and wondering if there’s any character who would have it easy and could go as themselves.

Then it came to me:

Magnus Bane – The Mortal Instruments Series

Magnus is a powerful warlock who is centuries old and is known for his crazy clothing choices and elaborate tastes. He also literally gives zero fucks when deciding what to wear and what people will say.

 

 

He has yellow eyes that look like a cat, he’s been known to wear suits of pink glitter and he looks like he’s a 20 something model.

Yep. He could literally go as anything! Or even just himself and he would fit right in.

 

 

Plus if anyone questioned him he would just hit him with his award winning sarcasm and call it a day.

 

 

Let’s truly be honest with ourselves. If anyone is going to have a party on Halloween it’s Magnus Bane. And you bet your boots I would go to that party if invited!
